Visual identity and promotional design for The Rock Ambassadors, a student rock band formed at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent.
The project included logo design, social media visuals and video graphics for performance-related content, helping the band build a stronger and more recognizable public presence.
About_txt
The Rock Ambassadors is a university-based music group from Tashkent, created by students of UWED. The main goal of the project was to give the band a visual identity that could work across social media posts, promotional materials and video content.
Logo Design
The logo was designed as a strong typographic mark with heavy geometric shapes and sharp cuts.
Instead of creating a clean corporate-style identity, the goal was to make the logo feel like a real band mark — expressive, memorable and suitable for posters, covers, videos and stage-related visuals.
The large blocky letterforms help the logo remain readable even when placed over dark photography, concert footage or fast-moving video content.
Social Media Visuals
For the SMM materials, I created promotional visuals that helped the band communicate events, announcements and performance content in a more consistent way. The visual style uses dark tones, blue lighting, high contrast, bold text placement and photographic material to create a backstage / live-show mood.
This made the posts feel closer to the atmosphere of a real rock performance rather than generic university announcements.
Video
One of the key visual pieces was a timelapse-style video showing the band preparing for a performance.
The video was created and edited by the talented video editor NiazSidd. My role was to support the visual side of the project by providing the band logo and helping shape the branded graphic presence around the video.
Result
The final identity gave The Rock Ambassadors a stronger visual presence across different formats: logo usage, social media posts, promo visuals and video content. The project became a compact visual system that could be reused for future announcements, concert posts, reels, covers and performance-related materials.
